After spending 25 years in huge companies marketing and selling their respective competitive advantages a friend invited me to relocate to the Lakes Region and get into the boating business with local independent boat dealers - marketing and selling what we love to do anyway...

My current responsibilities include marketing & sales for Channel Marine, LLC in Weirs Beach, NH, along with handling the boat financing and a lot of the administrative tasks. Here is some background on the people I am lucky to work with and the company I represent...

A New Hampshire landmark for over half a century, Channel Marine has been dedicated to providing services and products to the greater Lakes Region boating community since 1946. This tradition continues with our Award Winning Sales Department and outstanding customer service efforts.

Channel Marine initially sold Garwood Boats, now a wooden classic. Our 2nd generation was the Century boat line - during many of those years Channel Marine had the distinction of being the #1 selling Century dealer in the USA, which sparked Channel Marine's recognition as one of the top boating facilities on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Channel Marine currently has 3 boat lines to support our belief that “Life Is Indeed Better With A Boat". Crownline Boats landed in the Top Five on the JD Powers "Overall Satisfaction" list the last few years, providing unmatched quality and corresponding Customer Satisfaction Scores. For the performance boater, we stock and service the Baja Boats high performance line, the most popular speedboats in New England. We added the Crest Pontoon boat line in 2006, another JD Power Top Five pick.

Channel Marine is co-owned by Doug Hammond and Vin Mullarkey, together purchasing the marina in February 2000, and dedicated to taking Channel Marine to the next level of growth, investing in the facility and the employees. Four new Valet storage buildings have been added to the property, creating a total storage capacity in excess of 450 units. Investments in marina management software and employee training continue to this day. Channel is 5-Star Yamaha Dealer and is EFI Certified MerCruiser and with year-round Master Technicians. We also service Volvo Penta powertrains. Our public Gas Dock features Ethanol-Free ValvTect Fuel at competitive prices!
