Channel Marine's Service Department has almost 4 dozen boats, both brand new and pre-owned, in some stage of preparation for delivery to Buyers. That pales by comparison to the hundreds of boats staged for spring delivery to our existing, valued customers.

Boats continue selling really, really well, in spite of continuing cold weather and our national economic woes. On the Channel, the ice has been gone for some time now - we've been doing in-water test drives for last 10 days or so! Pontoon popularity is growing, as evidenced by the "Sold" signs on much of our www.channelmarine.com inventory. A nice selection of prior year Crownline sportboat models remain and used boats are selling well, earning high trade-in values.

Savvy buyers know they have a captive family audience on the water – and that there has never, ever been a better time to buy a boat…

Trailers are coming in and boats going out on them.
A covered rack an Valet Service are being set up for some boaters - a coveted berth right on the Weirs Channel.

Sled goes through the Ice near Channel Marine

This past weekend Fathom Divers in nearby Gilford, NH stopped in at Channel Marine on the Weirs Channel - a sled had gone down through the ice.

The rider had been cruising along in front of the the Naswa Resort docks when he encountered thin ice & went down. He managed to get out safely & walk up the hill to call for ride - and a blanket! We'd say he was lucky...

Matt Canfield and Tom Range suited up with dive gear and air ballasts, found the sled and floated it over one of Channel Marines haul-outs. From there they muscled the water logged sled out of the late & blew most of the water out of the cylinders. Those guys have their system down pat!

Friends & family enjoyed the warm facilities, hot coffee and left us with a snowman on the main dock.

After spending 25 years in huge companies marketing and selling their respective competitive advantages a friend invited me to relocate to the Lakes Region and get into the boating business with local independent boat dealers - marketing and selling what we love to do anyway...

My current responsibilities include marketing & sales for Channel Marine, LLC in Weirs Beach, NH, along with handling the boat financing and a lot of the administrative tasks. Here is some background on the people I am lucky to work with and the company I represent...

Channel Marine initially sold Garwood Boats, now a wooden classic. Our 2nd generation was the Century boat line - during many of those years Channel Marine had the distinction of being the #1 selling Century dealer in the USA, which sparked Channel Marine's recognition as one of the top boating facilities on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Channel Marine currently has 3 boat lines to support our belief that “Life Is Indeed Better With A Boat". Hi,

Thank you for looking over my Blog!! This is my 1st effort at social networking, at the Blogoshpere in general.

My first impression is that this is so very easy to get started - Google, upon inquiring about how AdSense works, led me here in a matter of minutes. I'm now convinced anybody, at any computer skill level, can easily do this.

It's March 18th, the day after St Patty's, with safely 2 foot of snow on the NH ground & a bit more coming this week. The never ending winter!

The initial intent is to connect with my little brother DREW in Colorado & share some football stories or whatever other tales & memories we can dredge up. My older brother DEAN is good with a hammer but will likely never look at this...

I want to share this with my friends JERRY NOLDER, BILL KOLESAR and DOUG WHITING, all in Ohio। Like to think this could be a forum to help shorten the distance between us and may share photos or videos of our kids & grand kids B4 they grow up & we all miss out...
